I LOVE MY SIBLINGS!!

I have the best siblings! I love them because they always play with me, they care about me and they are good examples for me.
Emilie always is willing to play school with me. While we play she teaches me new things like my times tables.
Jonathan is very athletic. He always wants to do athletic things with me like play basketball and teach me how to play soccer.
Sophia always wants to play with me. Whenever we play together we have so much fun and never want to stop. We play Polly Pockets, American Girl Dolls, house and school.
Ezra is always so funny. He says things like "Stop bustin' my chops!" and has great WWF wrestling moves.
Mia has the cutest smile and loves me to play with her. I love to get her up in the morning because she is so excited to see me. I like to play airplane with her and race with her. I always fake lose!
I really love my family and I think that they are the best family on the earth!

my bike

I love to bike! I learned how last summer. I just told my mom that I needed to learn how to ride a bike. She sent my dad outside with me and five minutes later I came in and told her I had learned! I love to go on the Minute Man Trail. It is fun because you get to see old homes and where the Revolutionary War started. We even get to sometimes stop and see a man shoot an old fashioned gun. One time my dad took Sophia and Ezra back to the car and my mom and I went over a bridge and saw pretty flowers. Another place I like to bike is to a lake by our house. Every time we go to the lake it looks different. One time it was covered with fog. And one time the trees were all different colors. There was also a really pretty sunset. Usually my mom goes with us but sometimes she lets my sister take us. Last summer we bought a bike rack and so we can put our bikes on our car and go far away to ride. Once we took our bikes to Boston and rode by the Charles River. On a Sunday after church we took our bikes to the beach and rode on a trail next to the ocean. We also took our bikes to the Birkshires. I hope that I always have my bike to ride.

California

This summer we did a lot of fun things! We went to Newport Beach in California. At the beach we went boogie boarding. One time when I was boogie boarding with my cousin Hadley, there was a big wave. We came off the board and we couldn't get back on. Than my cousin Tanner came and saved us. I really liked building sand cakes with Hadley and Sophia. I liked building sandcastles with Gaby. I also dug a huge huge hole with Gaby. We played a game with my cousins where you got on a boogie board and you held onto the string and went back and forth standing up. It was kind of hard to stand up but it was okay if you fell off.
One night after all the beach time we went to see the American Girl movie, Kit. Then a few days later we went to the American Girl Store and I got the doll Julie. I already have Kit so I didn't get it but my cousins didn't have Kit so they got her.
We all had a really fun time in California. I am so glad that my Grandma and Grandpa could plan this all.

I Love my Friends!

I love my friends! These are some of my friends. Their names are Catherine J., Emily, Mary Kate, Kathryn K., and Amanda. We were very lucky this year in Mrs. Rivera's class because there were so many fun girls! If I wasn't in Mrs. Rivera's class I wouldn't be in Katherine K's class. She was my friend before I even went to kindergarten. When my friends come over to play, I like to do crafts with them in our art room. One time for Valentines Day, we cut out a heart and stuck little ity bity pictures all over it. I also like to play house with them. Sometimes we play outside in our backyard. We jump on the trampoline and go on the zip line. Most of all I love all of my friends because they are really fun to play with and are nice.

I will miss you!

I love Mrs. Rivera. First of all, we have the same color of hair. Hers is a little darker than mine but we are both red! Mrs. Rivera's class is the funnest in the whole school. Mrs. Rivera doesn't get mad. If someone is doing something bad and they are not listening, she won't get mad. They just have to go sit on a chair. Mrs. Rivera says that I am a really good worker and I have really good hand writing. She makes me happy. I liked that we had book buddies. Fourth graders read us books. Everybody has a partner and they read us Frog and Toad and Chicken Little. And they read us The Candy Store and a math ABC book. We also got to have Drummlin Farm people come. They brought us turtles and ducks. We got to hold them. Then we had to wash our hands because germs were on us. My favorite thing of the year was the Chicken Festival. We got to sing songs like "I don't want to be a chicken! I don't want to be a duck!" Next year Mrs. Rivera will be in first grade. I hope I will be in her class again.

It's summer!

I looooove summer! And it is four days away. Four more days!! I love it because you get to go swimming. You get to play things outside like baseball and ride your bike. We get to go to fun places with my mommy. My favorite places to go are the beach, the park by our house and the museums in Boston. I like to see lots of things like the crabs at the beach, the light blocks at the children's museum and potions at the science center.  In the summer I like eating lobsters and clam chowder, hamburgers -- my grandpa's famous hamburgers are sooo good!, popsicles in the backyard and vanilla ice cream at crispy cones. It's really fun in the summer!
